McCarthy & Co Accountants have had many incarnations since inception in the early 1980s by Peter Gower, John Lucas and Arch Roggeveen, all highly skilled and successful practitioners who managed the practice.
Grant McCarthy had been employed by Arch Roggeveen (then trading as Arch Roggeveen & Associates), as a graduate accountant following his own university graduation in March 1990.
Grant then worked his way up through the business from graduate level, then as a CPA, progressively acquiring the skills and training necessary to succeed in his own practice.
In July 1999, Grant took over the practice and the business was renamed McCarthy, Roggeveen & Associates. At this time, Chris Receveur joined the practice as a senior accountant and continues to work with us at the Springwood and Maroochydore offices.
In 2006, the business name changed to McCarthy & Co Certified Practising Accountants (CPA’s) and the rest is, as they say, history.
As McCarthy & Co Accountants continue to grow, we thank our valued clients and commit to helping them grow their own businesses for a successful financial future.
