A fair price or wasteful?
I went up to the Sunshine Coast on the weekend. At one of the parks they had the standard basketball court but what caught my eye were these two outdoor ping pong tables
They are weather proof and graffiti proof. I noticed them because we got a (standard $90) table for Christmas and it was a big effort for my wife to install (I assisted)
Suffice it to say we did not bring our bats and balls to play. Neither had anyone else
I looked up the table on the Internet. $4999 each plus $198 delivery. There are two there (unused). Do you consider this a good use of Maroochydore ratepayers money?
I won’t be buying one of these for the office.
